About me

I’m Gianella, though most people call me G, the photographer behind G6 shots.

My work exists where energy, emotion, and aesthetic collide. I am drawn to concerts and live events for the connection between artists and their fans, the exchange of energy that turns a performance into something shared. That dynamic is what I pursue through my lens.

I’ve been part of the metal, punk, and alternative scene as a fan long before I ever picked up a camera. That experience shaped the way I see live music. I understand the crowd, the anticipation, the intensity, and the intimacy that happens in those spaces. Photographing that connection is not just what I do, it’s why I do it.

Working with different meatal bands, touring, and collaborating with local tribute and alternative artists has allowed me to grow within the same community that inspired me. Being able to move from the crowd into a position where I can create alongside the artists I admire feels like a full circle moment, and something I continue to build on.

Alongside live photography, I also work with beauty and product imagery, shaped by my experience at Sephora. That environment refined my attention to composition, color, and detail, strengthening the way I approach lighting and visual balance in my work. My photography is guided by an emotive, dark, vivid, and edgy aesthetic that carries across both worlds.

I’m constantly experimenting with new compositions, lighting, and visual direction, treating each project as a chance to refine my eye and expand my style.

I don’t just photograph shows.
I capture the connection that makes them unforgettable.
